Ciputra Development Books Rp5.5 Trillion Marketing Sales and Achieves 2020 Target

PT Ciputra Development Tbk (“the Company”) booked marketing sales of Rp5.5 trillion in 2020, representing a 10% year-on-year decline and achieved 122% of the Rp4.5 trillion revised guidance. Despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Company’s core property development business displayed better-than-expected resilience as the Company managed to post consecutive monthly improvement in marketing sales since the initial impact of the pandemic in April to November. The Company attributes this achievement to the resilient landed residential product type that grew by 7% year-on-year and accounted for 90% of total marketing sales.

Below is the highlight of the Company’s key projects in 2020:

CitraLand Gama City Medan

CitraLand Gama City Medan was the biggest contributor of the Company’s marketing sales in 2020 at Rp685 billion. The project’s unique concept of “The Singapore of Medan” through an exclusive clean, green and modern residential area has been the key selling point for mid-to-high target segment in Medan amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.


CitraRaya Tangerang

As a modern township that has been developed since 1994, CitraRaya Tangerang has grown significantly and been recognized as the prominent Regional and Business Center in Tangerang. Today, CitraRaya Tangerang remains becoming the preferred choice for living among the potential buyers in Greater Jakarta area. Equipped with supporting infrastructure and amenities, including the newly opened Ciputra Mall Tangerang, CitraRaya Tangerang recorded the highest marketing sales achievement in Greater Jakarta area in 2020.


Citra Sentul Raya

Continuing its debut success last year, Citra Sentul Raya introduced another three residential clusters in 2020 coming in different ticket sizes to cater different needs of buyers, ranging from the affordable houses with selling price starting from Rp600 million per unit to the more high-end products with selling price starting from Rp1.9 billion per unit. Going forward, the project is designed to be an integrated area that combines residential, commercial areas and township-scale public facilities.


Citra Maja Raya

Throughout 2020, Citra Maja Raya continued to fulfill the high demand of quality housing at an affordable price starting from as low as Rp150 million per unit. Citra Maja Raya provides unique offerings of houses equipped with various supporting infrastructure and amenities, including the KRL Commuterline which supports the residents’ mobility. Amidst the pandemic, Citra Maja Raya was still able to launch a total of 6 residential clusters.


CitraLand Tallasa City Makassar

In addition to the above projects, the Company also had some notable activities in Sulawesi Island. CitraLand Tallasa City Makassar launched a new residential cluster named Red Terracotta with selling price starting from Rp1.0 billion per unit. The launch had a positive take-up rate at 72% out of 104 units offered.
