As a pioneer in residential property development, Ciputra Development has reached various milestones to become one of the largest property companies in Indonesia.
Dr. (HC) Ir. Ciputra established a property company called as PT Citra Habitat Indonesia
The company developed its first residential project, Citra Garden in West Jakarta. The project was the origin of a township development CitraGarden City Jakarta.
PT Citra Habitat Indonesia name was changed into PT Ciputra Development.
Mal Ciputra Jakarta and Hotel Ciputra Jakarta were officially operated and marked the company’s first commercial project.
The company developed CitraLand Surabaya, the first township development project in Surabaya.
PT Ciputra Development conducted initial public offering and was listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX).
CitraRaya Tangerang was officially launched and became the largest township development project with total area of 2,700 hectare.
The company expanded its business outside Java island through CitraLand Banjarmasin project in Kalimantan.
The company widened its footprint to Sumatera through CitraGarden Bandar Lampung project.
Ciputra World Surabaya, the first mixed-use development project in Surabaya, was officially launched and entered construction phase.
Following the success in Surabaya, the company began to develop Ciputra World Jakarta.
The company continued its geographical business expansion to Sulawesi island through CitraLand Celebes Makassar project.
The company diversified its business by entering the healthcare sector with Ciputra Hospital Tangerang as the first healthcare project.
The company made a breakthrough in property development technique, namely reclamation. CitraLand City Losari Makassar marked the beginning of reclamation project in Ciputra Development.
The company merged with PT Ciputra Surya Tbk (CTRS) and PT Ciputra Property Tbk (CTRP)

Rina Ciputra Sastrawinata
She is the first daughter of Dr. (HC) Ir. Ciputra, who has served as Commissioner since 2017 and was appointed as President Commissioner in 2022 based on Deed No. 31 dated August 11, 2022.
Prior to becoming a Commissioner of the Company, she served as President Director of the Company (1983-1990), Commissioner of the Company (1990-1993), and Director of the Company (1993-2017). She was also the President Director at Century 21 (real estate broker company). Currently, she also serves as Commissioner and Director in several companies under Ciputra Group, such as President Director of Ciputra Artpreneur Jakarta.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and an MBA degree from Claremont Graduate School, Los Angeles, USA. For her achievements, she has been awarded several awards including the Ordine della Stella d'Italia Classe Caveliere (2012), the FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Award (2016), and the Women Empowerment Award (2019).

Tanan Herwandi Antonius has been serving as Independent Commissioner of the Company since 2020 pursuant to Deed No. 50 dated August 19, 2020. He earned a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Master of Science in Urban Development from University College London, United Kingdom, and Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from University of Connecticut, United States. Previously, he was the Director of the Company in 2003 to 2019.

Nanik J. Santoso, Indonesian, born in 1965, has been appointed as a Director of the Company since January 2017. She started her career with the Company in 1990 as Business Development Assistant Manager. Throughout her career, she has held various positions, namely Business Development Manager (1992-1994), Corporate Secretary of the Company (1994-2002), Corporate Finance Senior Manager (1996-1999), Deputy Director of Ciputra Group (1999-2001), and Director of PT Ciputra Surya Tbk (CTRS) (2001-2017). Currently, she also serves as Director of PT Ciputra Nusantara. She obtained her bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Brawijaya University, Malang and MBA degree from PPM Institute (IPPM), Jakarta.

Tulus Santoso, Indonesian, born in 1959, has been appointed as Independent Director of the Company since June 2015. He also serves as Corporate Secretary of the Company since 2003. He began his career with the Company in 1985 as Finance Manager. He holds a bachelor degree in Accounting from Satya Wacana Christian University, Salatiga and Master of Accountancy from University of Indonesia. Currently, he involves in several organizational activities, including Deputy Chairman of the Permanent Committee of the Development of Financing and Taxation in Property Sector of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and Supervisory Board Member of Ciputra Pendidikan Foundation.
