“Ciputra Group takes immediate responses by providing isolation room facilities and medical equipment at Ciputra Hospital CitraGarden City and Ciputra Hospital CitraRaya which have been ready to treat Covid-19 patients since May 1st, 2020,” said Budiarsa Sastrawinata.
PT Ciputra Residence together with Ciputra Hospital also established an acceleration team to add isolation rooms of 81 beds at Ciputra Hospital CitraGarden City, thus cumulatively totaled to 123 beds, as well as a large emergency tent for additional isolation rooms at Ciputra Hospital CitraRaya with the capacity of 72 beds (totaled to 87 beds). Hence, there are currently 210 negative-pressure isolation beds separated from other non-Covid patients.
According to Budiarsa, the two hospitals owned by the Ciputra Group have been designated by the Provincial Health Service as the Covid-19 Service Network Hospital, in DKI Jakarta and Banten Province.
Regarding the cost of treatment, Ciputra Hospital will refer to the Minister of Health’s Decree number HK.01.07 / Menkes / 238/2020 regarding the Technical Guidance for Reimbursement Claim of Covid-19 Patient Treatment Costs. Ciputra Hospital will coordinate with the Ministry of Health and related parties including Healthcare and Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan) so that the patients do not have to bear the cost since the beginning of treatment.
“Thus, Covid-19 patients treated at Ciputra Hospital are charged for free and handled promptly,” he said.
Irwan S. Hermawan, MM, Director of Ciputra Hospital CitraGarden City added, isolation rooms in Ciputra Hospital were equipped with medical personnel with adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance to WHO standards, ranging from from level 1 to level 3 while still maintaining transmission-based vigilance such as contact transmission (contact), spark (droplet), and air (airborne).
The ICU and HCU rooms in Ciputra Hospital are also equipped with ventilators and patient monitors, as well as hemodialysis rooms with sufficient hemodialysis (HD) machines to treat HD patients affected by Covid-19.
“All medical personnel live in the room facilities with close supervision provided by Ciputra Hospital divided into rotating shifts for resting. In addition, vitamin supplements are also available to maintain their health. Some routine inspection programs are carried out to avoid the possibility of Covid-19 infection among medical personnel,“ explained Dr. Irwan.

For a wider range, Ciputra Hospital coordinates with DKI Jakarta Integrated Emergency Management System and Integrated Referral Information System of DKI Jakarta Health Office for picking up and handling of patient emergencies.
