During this Covid-19 pandemic, there are many limitations faced by apartment developers in completing the physical construction of their apartments.
Nevertheless, some developers are still committed to complete and hand over their units in order to maintain consumers’ trust.
Ciputra Group, for example, has commenced handing over The Newton 1 Apartment units since early October. The apartment is part of mixed-use development Ciputra World 2 Jakarta that is located in CBD area of Satrio Street, South Jakarta.
The handover of apartment units will be conducted in phases until 31 December. The handover process is carried out in accordance to health protocol as recommended by the local government during the large-scale social distancing (PSBB) transition period.
According to Andreas Raditya, General Manager Marketing Ciputra Group, in contrast to pre-Covid-19, the handover of The Newton 1 is conducted through strict technical procedures, such as the requirement for buyers, upon receiving the invitation, to confirm their exclusive attendance at least 3 working days prior the meeting.
Buyers are also asked to be on time, with meeting timeslot not exceeding 1.5 hours. In addition, only 1 person of companion is allowed to participate in the handover process so that it adheres to 25% room capacity restriction.
“These measures are taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19. We have set schedule for the buyers so that they will not come at the same time. No matter how difficult the situation is, Ciputra Group always strives to fulfill its commitment to the customers,” said Raditya in a press release, Friday (30/10).
After the units are handed over, the buyers can immediately fit out or design the room as they wish. Most of them want their units to be ready as soon as possible.
Within the area, Ciputra Group is also offering The Newton 2 apartment with price starting from Rp 1 billion. From October to December 2020, Ciputra Group offers “New Normal New Deals” promo, exclusive for units facing Sudirman Street (North).
With down payment of only 30%, it can be paid in installments starting from Rp 6 million for 36 times. Furthermore, should the buyers be approved for mortgage by the banks, the buyers are eligible for interior voucher with total value starting from Rp 25 million, Google Home and Robot Vacuum Cleaner.
The Newton 2 offers various units ranging from 24 square-meters to 60 square-meters coming in different unit types, namely studio, one bedroom and two-bedroom. The Newton 2 is developed with a cozy concept that is supported by amenities and facilities that suit the preferences of millennials and younger couples, open spaces, meeting points equipped with adequate technology, swimming pool, convenience stores and gyms.
Ciputra World 2 Jakarta is a mixed-use development project that is integrated with Ciputra World 1, which consists of Lotte Shopping Avenue, Raffles Residence, Raffles Hotel and DBS Bank Tower. Meanwhile, Ciputra World 2 comprises Tokopedia Tower, Ascott Sudirman Jakarta, The Orchard Satrio, The Residence, The Suites, The Newton 1 and The Newton 2.
