CitraLand City Losari Makassar Completes 100 Hectare Land Reclamation

CitraLand City Losari Makassar has completed the reclamation work for approximately 100 hectare of land. Previously, in December 2018, Boskalis as the reclamation contractor of the project had finished and handed over the work to the JO Ciputra Yasmin management. The handover process was on track with the project completion schedule. Recently, the work has undergone DNP (Defect Notification Effect) process, in which the JO Ciputra Yasmin management along with the consultant examined the contractor’s work for one year post-completion. The assessment results indicated that the work has obliged the mandated requirements and met the applicable standard for the stability of the soil.

In addition to the reclamation work, CitraLand City Losari Makassar is currently undertaking several infrastructure works. The construction of Phinisi Bridge which will connect CitraLand City Losari Makassar area is 90% complete. Meanwhile, the progress of the Cluster Bridge that will connect Treasure Island cluster and Sunset Cove cluster has also reached 80%. Moreover, road infrastructure, South CPI Canal and drainage system works are still ongoing.

The project constructions works are performed simultaneously with the infrastructure works. Some of the works being carried out are the land grading in Business Park area, the retaining wall works in Sunset Quay and the erection of sheet pile in Ciputra World area. All progress goes according to the planned schedule, thus handover to the customers will be held as scheduled in the agreement.

Furthermore, the construction of the Center Point of Indonesia (CPI) entrance area has been concluded, marked by a still-standing globe in the middle of the CPI roundabout. The globe will come with a fountain and flashing lights that resemble city lights when viewed from a distance.
